3. Workflow

Read Before Printing

Drying

Dry the filament thoroughly before every print. Use a dedicated filament dryer or convection oven at 70-75°C for 4-6 hours.

Nozzle

≥ 0.2 mm (≥ 0.4mm is recommended for ease of use)

Recommended

Extruder

Direct drive extruders are generally recommended for flexible filaments.

Build Surface

Glass, PEI Film, or PC Film

Best practices when printing

It is recommended to put the filament into a dry box (humidity below 15%) immediately after opening for printing.

Storage

When not in use, store the filament back in the original aluminum foil bag, sealed tightly, ideally with desiccant packs.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Stringing / Oozing / Bubbles

  • This is the most common sign of wet filament. Dry your filament thoroughly at 70-75°C for 4-6h.
  • Also, optimize retraction settings (0.4-1 mm distance).

Rough Surface Quality

Also a primary symptom of moisture. Dry the filament.

Poor Bed Adhesion

  • Clean the build plate. Adjust Z-offset. Increase bed temperature (within 60-100°C range).
  • Use a brim.
  • Ensure the build surface is compatible (Glass, PEI, PC).

Weak Layer Adhesion

  • Dry filament.
  • Increase nozzle temperature (within 230-260°C range).
  • Adjust cooling fan speed (50-100%).
