説明
Roamr TPU Air HR 85A is a structural foaming TPU within the Roamr series, specifically engineered for high-stress, high-wear, and critical support zones in footwear.
Unlike materials that chase extreme hardness, HR 85A strikes the perfect balance between stable support, responsive rebound, and long-term durability.
It ensures 3D printed shoes are not just "wearable prototypes" but durable footwear capable of long-distance walking and daily use.
From Prototype to Performance Wear
Outsoles & High-Wear Zones
Structural Midsoles
Ergonomic Slides
Reinforced Uppers

High-Performance Rebound (48%-50%)
Specifically engineered for responsive feedback.
Unlike standard foams, it ensures midsoles and insoles offer a noticeable "bounce" that enhances long-term comfort and athletic agility.

Ultralight Active Foaming
Achieve up to a 57% weight reduction compared to solid TPU.
This allows for massive, complex shoe geometries that remain incredibly light on the foot.

Variable Hardness by Temperature
One filament, multiple densities.
Adjust your print temperature to transition from 68A (soft heel impact) to 85A (firm arch support) within the same print.

Superior Printability
The optimized 85A hardness ensures smooth feeding across various extruders. It significantly reduces the risk of clogging and tangling common with ultra-soft TPUs.
Industrial-Grade Wear Resistance
Built for the outdoors. The material is highly resistant to abrasion and repeated compression, bringing 3D printed shoes closer to the durability of mass-market retail footwear.

Professional Fabric-Like Finish
The foamed surface creates a unique, non-plastic texture. It provides a premium aesthetic and a skin-friendly feel, making it ideal for high-end wearables.

Engineered for Wearable Gear
Combining high energy return with structural integrity, this material is designed for functional footwear, not just prototypes.

FAQ
No,astandardbrassnozzlewillprint,butwerecommendusingahardenedsteelnozzleforthebestresults.
We do not recommend using similar soft materials in AMS, as the material may be too soft to cause feeding problems, leading to clogging.
You can print in an open printer. However, enclosure printers have a more stable temperature environment and produce better print results!
Like all TPU, for the best foaming consistency and surface finish, we recommend drying at xx°C for xx hours before use.
