Standard PLA and PETG can struggle to melt and extrude quickly enough at very high speeds, leading to under extrusion. High flow formulations are built specifically to keep pace with printers like the SV08 without sacrificing layer adhesion, which matters more here than on a printer with a lower speed ceiling.
How to Print PETG-CF Successfully on the SV08
Install a hardened steel nozzle first. Carbon fiber filament wears through brass and stock stainless nozzles quickly.
Dry the filament before printing. PETG-CF absorbs moisture, and wet filament strings and weakens layer bonding.
Take advantage of the dual-gear direct drive extruder, which feeds stiffer fiber filled filament more consistently than a Bowden setup would.
Keep speeds moderate on fiber filled filament even though the SV08 can run much faster, since CF filaments benefit from controlled extrusion over raw speed.
Use an enclosure for ABS prints. The SV08 ships open frame, and ABS needs stable ambient heat to avoid warping.

Can I print ABS on the SV08 without an enclosure?
