3. Post-Processing: Step-by-Step

Step 1: Cleaning (Wash)

  • Solvent: Use 95% Concentrated Ethanol (Preferred) or IPA.

  • Caution: Methanol is acceptable but must NOT contain acetone.

  • Method: Use a soft-bristle painter's brush to gently remove excess resin.

  • Duration: Clean for approximately 4 minutes.

Step 2: Drying (Critical Step)

  • Method: Use a hair dryer or air blower to remove all solvent after washing.

  • Complex Parts: For parts with many cavities, repeat the wash/dry cycle multiple times.

  • Verification: Touch the surface. If it still feels sticky, re-wash and dry again. The part must be 100% dry before curing.

Step 3: Post-Curing

  • UV Wavelength: 395-405nm.

  • Duration: 1-2 minutes.

  • Requirement: Ensure the print is completely dry and free of alcohol before starting.

  • Technique: Standard UV curing. Water submergence is NOT required for Fast Tough.
