1. Material Properties (TDS)

Note: Non-percentage values below have been rounded to the nearest integer for easy reference.

Parameter Specification
Density (ISO 1183) 1 g/cm³
Water Absorption (ISO 62: Method 1) 0.4%
Melting Temperature (ISO 11357) 219°C

2. Hardware & Compatibility

To print successfully with Support PPA Ivory, ensure your 3D printer meets the following industrial requirements:

Printer Type
Multi-nozzle systems (Independent Dual Extruder/IDEX, dual-printhead, or 2-in/1-out) featuring a high-temperature enclosed chamber.
Nozzle Requirement
Hardened steel or a higher-grade wear-resistant nozzle is mandatory. A heater block thickness of ≥12mm is highly recommended for optimal melting.
Compatible Model Filaments
Siraya Tech PPA-CF, PPA-GF, PPA, PPA-CF Core, and PA6. (Does not work well for PA12, if a filament does not specify which Nylon it contains, make sure check with the manufacturer for details)
Bed Adhesion
Siraya Tech Grip is strongly recommended. Applying an even layer of Siraya Tech Grip to your build surface will ensure reliable first-layer adhesion and prevent warping during high-temperature prints.

3. Recommended Print Settings

Enter these baseline settings into your slicer. You may need to fine-tune based on your specific printer model.

Parameter Specification
Nozzle Temperature 270–300°C (Recommended baseline: 280°C)
Build Plate Temperature 80–100°C
Print Speed 30–120 mm/s
Cooling Fan OFF (0%)
Retraction Distance 1–3 mm
Retraction Speed 1800–3600 mm/min

4. Slicer Support Settings

To utilize the zero Z-gap capability for perfectly flat overhangs, configure your support settings as follows:

Parameter Specification
Top & Bottom Z-Distance (Vertical Offset) 0 mm
Horizontal / XY Distance 0.3–0.6 mm
Support Infill Density 15–25%
Dense Support Layers (Interface Layers) 3–5 layers
Support Wall Loops / Outlines 0–1
Raft Separation Distance 0 mm

5. Drying & Storage

Support PPA Ivory is highly sensitive to ambient moisture. Moisture absorption will lead to stringing, bubbling, rough extrusion, and poor adhesion.

Pre-Drying
Always dry the filament before use at 80–100°C for 4–6 hours.
Active Printing
Print directly from a sealed dry box maintained at or below 15% Relative Humidity (RH).
Storage
Immediately reseal the spool in its original moisture-barrier bag with desiccant when not in use. If print quality degrades over time, re-dry the spool.

6. Post-Processing & Annealing

If your main model material requires thermal annealing to achieve peak mechanical properties, do not remove the support structures beforehand.

  1. Leave the Support PPA Ivory attached to the model. It acts as a highly stable physical scaffold that severely reduces thermal shrinkage and dimensional deformation during the heating process.
  2. Follow the specific annealing time and temperature guidelines required by your main model filament (e.g., PPA-CF).
  3. Allow the part to cool completely to room temperature.
  4. Once cooled, physically break away the support structures from the model.
