Welcome to the world of 3D printing!
If you're a 3D printing enthusiast, you're likely familiar with the crucial role of 3D printing resin and the right print setting in achieving high-quality results. But for some novice printers, are often confused about how to import an already set printing file.
Resin for 3D printers is not just about the material itself but also how it's utilized within your printing process. One of the key aspects of mastering this art is understanding how to import and tweak print settings in software like CHITUBOX.
Let's dive deep into the steps you need to follow to import the CHITUBOX print settings file, ensuring that your resin for 3D printing is used to its fullest potential, yielding impeccable prints every time.
Open your Chitubox slicing software and click the "Settings" button on the right interface.
Click "Add Printer" in the upper left corner. You can then start selecting your printer brand and your model. (We will use the Elegoo Mars 4 Ultra as an example to show how to import)
After selecting your printer, it will appear in your left sidebar. Then click to select it.
Then, we need to import the print settings file you have downloaded. Click "Import profile" in the upper right corner.
Please note: Siraya Tech files are shared in the form of compressed packages. Please unzip the files before importing them. Remember to store them in a place where you can easily find them.
Then select the downloaded print file on your computer and click OK to import.
At this point, you have completed the import (wow!). Then you can select the resin you want to print at the top to get the corresponding settings.
