How to import print settings file into Chitubox Basic V2?

If you're a 3D printing enthusiast, you're likely familiar with the crucial role of 3D printing resin and the right print setting in achieving high-quality results. However, some novice printers, often need clarification about how to import an already set printing file.

Let's dive deep into the steps you need to follow to import the CHITUBOX print settings file, ensuring that your resin for 3D printing is used to its fullest potential, yielding impeccable prints every time.

Step 1
Open your Chitubox slicing software and click the "Add New Machine" button on the right interface.

Step 2
Choose the Printer in the "Add Printer" Page, You can then start selecting your printer brand and your model. (We will use the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra as an example to show how to import)

Step 3
After selecting your printer, Click "Next" and you will enter the "Slicer Settings" Page.

Step 4
Then, we need to import the print settings file you have downloaded. Click "Import profile" in the upper left corner.

Please note: Siraya Tech files are shared in the form of compressed packages. Please unzip the files before importing them. Remember to store them in a place where you can easily find them.

 Also, files with the suffix .cfgx can only be only opened on Chitubox Basic V2

Step 5
After importing the profile, please click "Apply" to save the printer in the Chitubox Basic V2

Step 6
At this point, you have completed the import (wow!). Then you can select the resin you want to print at the top to get the corresponding settings.
