Profile Import Steps
Β
Printing Process
| Step | Key points |
| 1 | Pour the resin into the vat carefully to minimize bubble formation. |
| 2 | If bubbles form, use a silicone spatula or similar tool to gently stir the resin and pop the bubbles. |
| 3 | Settle for 5-10 minutes before starting the print. |
| 4 | Monitor the first few layers closely to ensure proper adhesion to the build platform. |
Β
*Note:Β
Some printers may have issues with the build platform pressing down fully for the first layer:
- Sensor Alerts (Saturn 3/4 Ultra & others newer printers) β You can bypass the warning and proceed with printing.
- Fix for printing the first layer not sticky β Add a thin layer of resin first. After printing the first layer, add more resin while the build platform is down.
Cleaning
Tenacious Lava Black has higher viscosity, thorough cleaning is crucial:
| Steps | Key Point |
| 1 | Let the part drain thoroughly over the vat for at least 10 minutes after finish printing |
| 2 | Prepare 90% or higher concentrated Ethanol or IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) |
| 3 | Use the ultrasonic cleaner to clean for 10 minutes |
| 4 | Use compressed air or a hair dryer on a cool setting to dry the part thoroughly after cleaning |
| 5 | Check the dried surface by touch - if it feels sticky, clean and dry again |
Β
Post-Curing
| Steps | Key Point |
| 1 | Ensure the part is completely clean and dry before post-curing. |
| 2 | Use a 395-405nm UV light source for curing |
| 3 | Cure for approximately 15-20 minutes, rotating the part every 5 minutes for even exposure |
| 4 | Submerging the part in water can increase efficiency |
