BLU_TOUGH_RESIN_NYLON_MECHA_-_1

1. Product Introduction

Blu Nylon Mecha is a remarkably tough engineering resin featuring outstanding mechanical properties.Β

Its exceptional hardness and robustness make it ideal for crafting durable parts and tools. Certified bio-compatible under ISO 10993-10, it delivers higher impact and wear resistance than standard Blu, and it produces far less friction powder overall.

Application:

  • Gear and joint parts
  • Engineering Prototypes
  • Mechanical Aids
  • Fixtures and Jigs
  • Medical Devices
  • Load-bearing parts

    Cleaning

    Cleaning Step / Category

    Instructions & Recommendations

    Cleaning Solvents

β€’Β Preferred: 95% concentrated Ethanol or IPA.

β€’ Alternative: Methanol (must not contain acetone).

    Cleaning Time

Submerge parts in the solvents for 4-5 minutes, using the ultrasonic cleaner.

    Submersion Limit

DoΒ notΒ submerge parts in alcohol for more thanΒ 5 minutes.

    Extra Step

For a complex model, use a painter brush (or any brush made with hair) to gently remove excess resin from the printed part.

    Β

    Drying

    Drying

Remove alcohol by using an oven for 7-8 minutes (using a hair dryer requires 10 minutes)

Note: For complex parts with cavities, repeat the clean/dry cycle multiple times.

    Quality Check

Touch the dried surface. If it is still sticky, wash and dry the part again until smooth.

    Β

    Post Curing

    Step / Factor

    Instructions & Recommendations

    Pre-curing Checklist

Ensure the part is completely clean of excess resin andΒ fully dryΒ (no alcohol left) before starting.

    UV Specifications

Use a UV light source with a wavelength ofΒ 395-405nm.

    Curing Time

Cure for approximatelyΒ 15 minutesΒ to achieve optimal strength.

    Efficiency Tip

Submerge the printed object in water during the UV curing process to significantly increase curing efficiency.
