3. Before Printing
Steps |
Key Point |
1 |
Resin Mixing:Shake the bottle up and down well for at least 1 minute before each use. Warm the resin at 40-60 °C water for 10-15 minutes before shaking and pouring will be better. |
2 |
Please keep the print temperature at 25-30 °C. |
3 |
Support Tip: Magna Durable Grey is flexible before fully cured, so use thick and dense supports. Starting with “Heavy” support settings in Chitubox or Lychee. Light supports may cause print failure or warping. |

5. Clean, Dry & Post Cure
Clean and Dry
Steps |
Key Point |
Draining |
After printing, let the part drain thoroughly over the vat for at least 10 minutes. |
Preparation |
Prepare 90% or higher concentrated Ethanol or IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) |
Ultrasonic cleaning |
An ultrasonic cleaner for 5-10 minutes is effective. |
Manual cleaning |
If manually cleaning, use two washes: the first to remove most resin with a brush, the second with cleaner alcohol to finish. |
Drying |
Use compressed air or a hairdryer on a cool setting to completely dry the part, paying attention to crevices and hollow areas. |
Check Surface |
Before post-curing, touch the surface (with gloves). If it feels sticky or tacky, the part is not clean or dry enough. Repeat cleaning and drying. |
Post-Curing
Steps |
Key Point |
Prerequisite |
Ensure the part is completely clean and dry before post-curing. |
UV Source |
Use a 395-405nm UV light source for curing |
Curing Time |
Cure for approximately 10-15 minutes, rotating the part every 5 minutes to ensure even exposure on all surfaces. |
Optional Underwater Curing |
Submerging prints in a transparent water container can potentially lead to faster and more uniform curing. |
6. Storage Tips
1 |
Store Magna Durable resin in its original opaque bottle. |
2 |
Place in a cool, dark, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. |
3 |
Recommended storage temperature is typically 15-25°C. |
4 |
Keep the bottle tightly sealed when not in use. |
5 |
Ensure the resin is used within its recommended shelf life for optimal performance. |
